I love it when I find something free. It is especially rewarding when it works so well . Below you will find some of my favorite applications. I use them daily, frankly I don't know how I could work without them. If you haven't yet, I highly recommend your trying each.

I manage a multitude of digital pictures. Picassa is a clean code that will manage your digital photos in just about every conceivable ways including means to make complex adjustments with simple interface and a great interaction with your email service. If you're like me, your computer hard drive is filled with all kind of documents. I guess it is human nature to accumulate. I use to spend too much time looking for documents or email needed for reference. I have tested few desktop file management . Clean, fast and efficient. my favorite is Yahoo Desktop. If you haven't tried Google Earth yet, you must. Again it is a fast and clean interface useful in so many ways. Let say, you don't remember the name of a restaurant, but you know more less where it is located. Zoom in the neighborhood, click on dining to show all restaurants in area, click on each icon to show name, address and phone number. Neat stuff! Click here for more info.

You just got back from vacation, you want to share your photos with family and friends. I have tried many of the photo sharing web sites. Many of them seem to complicated to manage and explore. I like Flickr. You have the option to make photo album public. Click here for more info.

I like to cook for my friends and family. I have found so many great recipes at foodnetwork.com. I plug in keywords in their search engine based on what in the mood for. You can then browse the results and choose the closest alternatives to your taste and preference.

Real Estate

In this section, I share my favorite resources for information as it relates to real estate in South Florida.

A good starting point to investigate schools in South Florida. Go to DadeSchools.net.

Look up Public Records in South Florida, Dade County. You may search property by address to show current real estate taxes, how much property sold for in last transaction recorded, aerial photo of the property and property description.

Search Florida Public Records for annual filings and Directors on record for Florida Corporations.

Search Multiple Listing Service of Dade County where Realtors maintain a database of properties currently for sale.

My Good friend Claire is a wonderful photographer. She truly has the eye. Here you will find incredible pictures she took in the Everglades.

Travel

Try Kayak, the Latest Travel search engine. It seems to be doing a pretty good job of consolidating your search for best results.

A great traveling site featuring unusual vacations and exotic places. Point your browser to Luxurylink.com for an escape to your dream getaway vacation. I also recommend your subscribing to their newsletter.

If you should consider renting a villa in Europe, I highly recommend it. The following links are very useful in finding something very special. Like everything else on the web, it will take you some work and a lot of research for optimum results. We had good success with European Escapes. Italy Villas, a good source of villas available in Italy. Lacure Villas, another good international source. Villa in Umbria, obviously if you looking to rent a villa in Umbria. Villa in Italia, good source for the Amalfi coast among other areas. In the Bergerac region of France, a good starting point here. A good place to take your browser to if you're interested in a Chateau in France. Vacation Rentals by Owner offers good values.
